As a small child I always found I was good with my hands, from the plastic kit models to long summer holidays damming streams. I wanted to be able to make what I had in my head. Yes there was a massive chance that what I had dreamt up would not work, yes as a 10 year old boy, even if I managed to find the materials, I certainly did not have the skills. But I had the idea, and that's the point is it not. You don't dig a hole just to see what's there, you have an idea what's there before you start to dig. So it's the idea that is important. The ups and downs along the way, are the rocks and roots in our imaginary hole. We learn from them and validate our idea by a successful out come at the end. Not every idea is successful, not every obstacle a failure. But what we learn along the way makes every idea worthwhile.
What's in an idea.
