After the spaghetti disaster yesterday I have re-started the big red Zen Gnome. And in a very un-zen like fashion it is fighting all the way, but I have decided to let it run anyway. We will see what tomorrow brings. I am still waiting for the arrival of the display dome for The Hermit print.
I recently printed a smallish Hogwarts Castle, now, many in the hobby will decry the very obvious layer lines, but with this Fossil Rock PLA and the fact the model is architectural they do not seem out of place, I particularly like the look of the textured lower ground. Not sure if I want to coat this with epoxy or leave as is.
The Golden Clock, Chang Mai, yes there is a lot of stringing, and I adjusted the printer accordingly, but I treat as each model is an experiment, allowing me to improve print on print. Besides I have a very effective technique to remove these annoying hairs, and the cleaned up print will look spanking.
